I tried to connect to E500 today. The computer says there is a fault in the cable ie Not connecting to the cars CPU. The LED light is on the Diplexer so it is getting power from the car but DAS will not find the car. The connection status says offline – red bar on connection status. I assume this is correct. Do I have to select direct cable assess to the car in the setting? i have it working now . Com port was incorrectly setup to com1 should be com2.

hi, brothers, I have bought one the mb star c3 from obd2tool several months ago, and now it works perfect for my 2001, 1998, and 2006 cars including reading out and erasing trouble code, reading the real-time data of sensor and actuator; coding and programming. You can have a try.

Do not worry about that the “china” clones are much cheaper and the quality of products are not as well as the original. Some of my friend from the Mercedes Benz club all purchased best quality C3 from the same shop. We did not find any problem with C3. We think it to be a wonderful replica. My friends and i also spent a ton of time researching for the best source to get a good replica and found few distributors on the forums. After discussion, we decided to buy C3 Star from mb star shop for it is more professional for Mercedes Benz, compared with other comprehensive websites. mbstarshop is specialized for benz vehcles. Go to have a look and you will trust me.
good luck…

The ateq vt55 obdii triggers all newly mounted TPMS sensors and turns the warning light off. It decodes the sensor data and ensures that the correct tire pressure monitoring sensor is being read and isn?t a radio frequency transmission from a key fob or other sensor. The process allows the user to display the data on screen but also to transfer it to a PC and print out results outlining which sensor is faulty and why. To use, technicians only need to select the make of the vehicle and press the “start” button to accurately activate and decode TPMS sensors and display data.
